I still haven't watched JLD. Surprised to see Captain Underpants. I just sorta started zoning out near the end. The movie did capture the spirit of the books.
I've been interested in reading Supreme for a while, but damn is the book near impossible to find anywhere. Amazon only has them by third party sellers, where the lowest price is 50 for a trade, and Comixology only has this one issue by Moore.
As for the book itself, I rather enjoyed it but I feel it was missing something. Maybe it needs more time to explore and set up the story, or maybe it's a matter of not having the prior material. The book reminds me of Final Crisis, but instead it's Supermen vs Lex Luthors
@Penguin-Dust: I was debating on adding him, but I never really watched that much of Samurai Jack. After some consideration, I decided to switch out Zim and Jack for him. I can't wax poetically like I did with the other villains though.
You know, I just started watching that Toy Documentary on Netflix (the Toys That Made Us). Seeing the whole process of how He-Man went from conception to toy phenomena was hilarious. Best episode, cus the guys who were in charge of it felt like normal guys.
Superman and Manhattan will meet, and blah blah blah Superman will give him a hope speech blah blah blah Manhattan will be all like "it doesn't matter" blah blah blah more hope speech and then blah blah blah Manhattan realizes he was wrong blah. If this thing plays out the way I think it will (as some lazy attempt at meta commentary that blames the Watchmen for Dark Stories). this entire thing will be the equivalent of a roll of toilet paper.
Kevin Smith most likely got this from Q from Impractical Jokers (or TESD if you're an ant). After hearing Kevin Smith, he just likes to put inside jokes that only him and his friends would get. It's an annoying trait, which bothers me even more when he talks so passionately as if he didn't do something stupid that alienates the viewer just to get a dumb joke across. At best do it as a background thing. Anyway, back to the main point, Q was a firefighter and he said it's a common thing that happens to firefighters, so it's not like it's not backed in logic, it's just a long way to go for a tid bit that just makes him look silly... jesus I'm defending Batman, ugh Kill me
