The first time Iron Man has been shown to the theatre. It is also the first Marvel Studios movie  and Distributed by  Paramount Pictures. The movie is directed by Jon Favreau (who also stars as Happy Hogan) and has acting talents such as Terrence Howard, Gwyneth Paltrow, Jeff Bridges, and Robert Downey Jr, it also has the voice of Paul Bettany and cameos Samuel L Jackson, Gerald Sanders and Stan Lee(Iron mans creator).    The effects are outstanding. Ironman 0

Ironman was an awesome film and probably the greatest Marvel film ever made. X-men 2 being probably in second. I loved this film it had action, comedy, and a good story. It starts out with Billionare Playboy Tony Stark on a trip with soldiers presenting his Jerhico missle weapon while he gets an almost fatal injury from exploding shrapnel from one of his missles. It then shows a flash back leading up to the near fatal injury again. He is captured by the Ten Rings ,a terrorist group similar to Tali...

    Iron Man 1

Wow. This movie rocks. I don't know where to start. The movie started out with a bang. It's like putting an Iron suit and flying sky high. Anyways, this movie is that good and I have no bad things to say about it. The acting was that good and the story was superb. I loved Downey's performance as Tony Stark. He nailed it and no one else can do better than Downey. Ever since Downey's alcoholic days, it's like his role was waiting for him that long. It may not be the reason why he acted as one of t...

    Iron fun 0

When I went to see this movie I had no big expectations but I left the theater with a big smile. This film is all fun.  Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr) is a very rich man and a genius of technology but also a man who thinks everybody love him. When visiting Afghanistan for the presentation of a new weapon he's captured by a warlord group, they ask him to make that same weapon for them, at change they will let them live. With the help of Yinsen (Shaun Toub) he makes an armor capable ot resist bulle...

    Ironman Rocks and Rolls 0

Iron Man comes to the big screen and makes a great impact. The movie tells about how he became Iron Man and what happens when he makes new changes for himself. In the movie he's an arrogant playboy in the beginning, but after coming close to death and nearly getting killed he changes for the better. The story was told very well on how he became Iron man and I liked the suits he wore against his enemies. The cast did a great job and Robert Downey Jr was an amazing Iron Man in the movie. Film Review -- Iron Man / Jon Favreau, Robert Downey, Jr., Gwynet 1

Originally posted on my blog, The Comics Cove, not too long ago...There are many movie reviews that are long overdue on this blog, and Iron Man is perhaps the most such entry for me. Released in 2008, this fun, high-flying superhero masterpiece by Jon Favreau will go down as the movie that kickstarted the Marvel Cinematic Universe that links several of their recent films, and which recently featured the overwhelming success of The Avengers. While I don't have as high an opinion of its direct seq...

    Truly Epic 3

Well, my reviews have returned (yay). This time, I'm reviewing Iron Man. Iron Man was the first comic movie I saw in theaters. I admit, when I first saw it, I knew very little about Iron Man. I only watched reruns of the 90s animated series, and I didn't think much of it. Although the movie made me want to read the comics, and I liked him. Anyway, let's get started. The GoodTony Stark - Who the Hell doesn't like Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark? He is just perfect. Probably the greatest casting in...

    I am Iron Man 0

The film that started the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Iron Man was a revolutionary film for Marvel, and although you can say it was stuff like Blade, X-Men, and Spider-Man that paved the way for films like Iron Man, it was Iron Man that turned the Marvel films into a Universe.PlotSPOILER FREETony Stark is attacked and captured by terrorists whilst launching a new missile, and whilst pretending to build the missile for them he creates the Iron Man Armour, becoming Iron Man.ReviewThis was a brillia...

Still among the best in the superhero genre. 0

Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) is a genius in the technology field. He's also an arms manufacturer dealing with the military providing them with very powerful weapons. During an ambush in Afghanistan, he is injured when taking shrapnel to the chest and taken hostage. His life is saved by another prisoner Dr. Yinsen (Shaun Toub). While imprisoned he creates an iron suit to escape. He returns to the states to perfect his suit with intentions on repairing the damage his weapons have created. -summa...

Cult series and I was very disappointed 0

I decided to watch it, because it is in the cult series and I was very disappointed, despite the fact that RDJr is a nice actor and I like him very much. And I don't really have much to complain about his game here, but this story has maca, the plot is sometimes about such shocks of embarrassment ... Uhhh .... I was hoping it would be a Batman, X-men movie, no I don't know ... even Spiderman, and to some embarrassment ... In super hero films, although the logos are broken, you can at least laug...

    Perfect 0

This is a great introduction for R.D.J ironman and show cased perfectly where he comes from in terms of how he made a fortune. This movie illustrates the beginning of Tony's journey in terms of how he views his actions that lead to his capture. After seeing how his tech has falling into the wrong hands and being used to harm innocents. He goes from playboy to a man with a real desire to make the right choices for the good of everyone. But of course some habits die hard and this takes time. As w...
