A billionaire with to much spare time.
The first time Iron Man has been shown to the theatre. It is also the first Marvel Studios movie and Distributed by Paramount Pictures. The movie is directed by Jon Favreau (who also stars as Happy Hogan) and has acting talents such as Terrence Howard, Gwyneth Paltrow, Jeff Bridges, and Robert Downey Jr, it also has the voice of Paul Bettany and cameos Samuel L Jackson, Gerald Sanders and Stan Lee(Iron mans creator).
The effects are outstanding. Iron Man and Iron Monger looks better than they did in the comics. The movies comic accuracy is great. The plot is based off Iron Mans origin, but adds Iron Monger, I think the plot was brilliant. Due to the Batman movies having Alfred, they decided to turn Jarvis into a computer program (Paul Bettany voice), I think it makes more sense for a person like Stark.
The overall acting is great. Terrence Howard didn't seem like War Machine to me, im happy he is being replaced by Don Cheadle in the next film. Gwyneth Paltrow and Jeff Bridges are alright. Robert Downey Jr is one of marvels best actors, he is the best person to play Iron Man. Gerald Sanders is just shown in images as Howard Stark. Samuel Jackson is the perfect person to play the Ultimate verison of Nick Fury.
The movie is a 5 star success which is loyal to the comics and is still an enjoyable movie. Iron Man 2 is coming out March 2010 and will have Black Widow (who will be portrayed by Scarlett Johansson), Justin Hammer (who will be portrayed by Sam Rockwell) and a combination of Crimson Dynamo and Whiplash (who will be portrayed by Mickey Rourke) and Rhodes will become War Machine. If it is even half as good as this movie (which is unlikely) it will still be awesome.
