The first major event storyline of DC's Rebirth era begins with a day Amanda Waller always knew would come: the Justice League discovers the existence of the Suicide Squad! Remind me again... but isn't this kinda the same thing that happened with Trinity War? Starts off being someone vs someone vs someone and then break the gear stick and it becomes someone or everyone vs someone else entirely?

I'm 100% sure that the JL and SS are gonna collaborate and then take on an even bigger threat.

Screw this I want to know more about the summer event which will be written by Snyder and art duty by....Capullo?

I'm not disliking this, as much as I am worried. I don't want to see DC follow Marvel, and start changing their comics to look more like the movies. They finally get a movie that is only kind of good, and the comics are already slipping down this slope. Please, DC! Your comics are good! Rebirth is working! You don't need to do this!

This is straight-up embarrassing. At least make the Squad members privy to the Justice League members' weaknesses and have them use them against them or something to make it even slightly believable...

It seems more belivable for Lord's Squad to stand a chance against the JL than the SS too. Hahaha.

Also to everyone complaining about the squad getting a beatdown of a life time, you can tell theyr'e losing and its obvious they are holding back and even not take them too seriously.

Bringing back the real Lobo and Lord is a good thing. JL vs. SS is sure to end up being a team up which makes the title stupid. I usually don't mind Tony S. Daniel but coming off of Fabok's pencils makes it seem like a downgrade...

The amount of complaints would drop by a significant amount if people actually read the series they are commenting on. People here tend to just comment on things they already know they don't like.

This series is legit the best thing from DC right now. I love it.

Hell, Batman could one-shot everyone on this team if he really wanted to.

It is an interesting concept, even if it's been used time and time again. Waller doesn't see the people that the SS has hurt or killed, she hasn't seen the mothers, brothers, sons, daughters and fathers crying at funerals; all she sees is a resource to be used or tossed away. Put her on the other side and Waller is the type of person who flew the jets into the World Trade Center, an ends-justify-the-means type. Batman and the rest of the league has seen the funerals, they've heard the wails of those in mourning and they don't really care what justification Waller thinks she has; the criminals once caught should be in jail.

Deadshot is right, as long as they are concentrated they don't really have a chance, but running, taking the league one on one until Flag shows up; some of them at least might get away. The problem is that the JL does know know about the SS and any mission that Waller sends them out on the JL is probably going to be there. And if she does blow any of the SS up the JL will hunt her down for murder.

Unfortunately since Lord and his group are going to get involved it looks like this will devolve quickly into a situation where the SS is bad, but he's worse so the SS and Waller will get a pass. We really have seen this before and not too far into the past either. As I recall Steve Trevor was the last to lead a government group against the JL.

Oh well, it's not to say this won't be entertaining, but (for me at least) not 4.00 worth of entertaining. I'll wait for the discount box.

what a stupid book. How did they even get Lobo in there? His HF would negate the bomb if they still use those.

Except it's not heroes fighting heroes for a stupid reason that their universe has had experience with several times before, i.e. seeing visions of the future.

@phillip33: Whaaaat? They have Lobo, Johnny Sorrow, Emerald Empress, Polaris, Killer Frost, Deadshot, Killer Croc, Harley Quinn, Captain Boomerang, and Diablo. That's a decent group, especially the first 4.

This is actually kind of dumb. I love the Rebirth series but the Justice League fighting against the Suicide Squad is like an Elephant fighting against a lion. While the lion is ferocious in battle, the elephant is way too overpowered for the lion to handle. The Suicide Squad would stand no chance against the Justice League in reality. Heck, not even the Avengers would win in a fight against the Justice League. The Sinister Six fighting against the Suicide Squad is a much more fair fight.

Funny how people are mad because SS is lasting more than should against JL but love when Bats beats Supes or the JL by himself.
