"What the hell is wrong with you?" He heard Norfleet's voice, but he couldn't remove is eyes from the screen. "What're you---are you looking at Director Ruby's file!?" Norfleet sorta kind hushed. "I am, and I'll admit it's pretty fricken overwhelming." He replied highlighting a few of Ruby's most bizarre moments.

"She was a member of the HRA. That's a terrorist group" He said scrolling over the details on the computer.

"Yeah, and we knew that already" Norfleet replied not entirley impressed. "Yeah well did you know she was arrested for plotting to assassinate President Stark?"

"Well...no I didn't" The ebony woman replied again, once again taking interest in what was supposed to be a restricted file. "Yeah, get this. She did 2 years at a federal prison; and then was released into the FBI's hands. Why would they give a woman that tried to kill the leader of the country a job?"

It didn't make sense, was there corruption surrounding Ruby's involvement with the government. "Says here again, Operation Firestick. Commander Stacy blew an operation, people were killed Ruby cleaned it up; got blamed for it, and then was pardoned by Stark."

The concern was there, Norfleet could see; but everything was mere speculation. "I think what we need to do is close this file and act like we've never seen it." She said, shying away from his desk. "Yeah, but the crazy thing is...alot of this stuff was supposed to be classified...but it's not. I just clicked on a file and it opened."

"You're saying someone wanted us to see them?"

"Yeah. Maybe someone wanted us to see them, maybe get us thinking. What was STRIKE really created for. I mean the first time; we had no ties to any country. This time the NATO is backing us and once again put Ruby in charge."

"After...she denounced her American Citizenship..."

She listened to them in the comfort of her secret room, relaying the messages back to Cato Outpost. "It's a shame really. After all we've been through I never would've suggested these two would turn on me. "Then again it can't be helped.
