A Time of Peace and Prosperity
Tera Creed was lauded as one of the most promising young Jedi Knights to come about in several generations. With a natural aptitude for the way of the Force, she quickly progressed through training and found a natural and effortless connection to the ways of the light.
Her greatest mission would be the bestowment of a crucial artifact in the seemingly everlasting war against the Sith. Once bestowed with this artifact, she would go into hiding and relinquish contact with the central sanctums of the Jedi, essentially giving up her life as a Jedi in the name of the mission, knowing that she was one of the few suited for this mission and with the abilities to carry out the protection.
Tera settled on Delos, and eventually, she found love with an aspiring politician, well on his way to being elected king. It was a heady romance, one that stories are written about, but a solid one. They were each other’s better halves, their best friends, and together they rose to ruling of the planet Delos.
Parents to three beautiful children, Tera’s husband was aware of her status as a Jedi, as were her children, all of whom were Force Sensitive.
Pearson Solaris was a loving father, a benevolent king and a truly remarkable leader. Delos knew prosperity and peace under his time. Tera was beloved by all, and the children were not kept apart. They were raised amidst people from all walks of life, and made to realize that they were incredibly lucky, and that that should never be taken for granted.
The Calm Before the Storm
All good things must come to an end. Through some form of treachery, it became known to enemy forces just who Tera Solaris was in her previous life, and just what it was that she was hiding on Delos.
The special saber crystal granted additional special abilities. It was one so powerful, and so sacred, that it had been hidden away until the point that it could be utilized to turn the tides in the ever-escalating conflicts of the Jedi and the Sith.
Its acquirement was an unquenchable thirst once information of it hit the intelligence gathering forces of the Sith. Delos was scouted, and within a week, the Sith with the combined force of the Imperium laid havoc to it in an attempt to find the crystal. The once peaceful and prosperous planet was attacked by a mighty force, and while Tera Creed Solaris and her husband remained on planet, leading forces against the incursion, their own children were shuttled off-world.
The Daughter of Delos
Sensing the attack as it came in, Pearson and Tera arranged escape for all of their children. The three were scattered to the far edges of the galaxy. As a planet controlled by the Meridian Empire, aid arrived quickly to Delos, taking no longer than three days after the distress signal went out.
It was not quick enough. Millions died in the incursion, and the fate of the Solaris family to this day is unknown. It is assumed widely that they expired in the attack, but the Sith and Imperium have never been ones to believe things that their eyes did not pay witness to.
There is a standing order in all Sith or Imperium controlled systems to be on the lookout for young adults matching the age, and presumed appearance of any of the Solaris children, now all ranging from their early to mid-twenties, nine years after the initial attack.
Princess of Thieves
Andromeda Solaris spent the next nine years scrounging from planet to planet, stowing away in ships or selling her services as a thief.
Cosmetic lenses were used to dim the pure gold of her eyes, one of the marks of a Solaris, and schooling out the natural accent that marked her from the planet Delos. All markers that could shed any light on who she used to be had been removed.
The first four or five years were the hardest. Andromeda was ten at the time of the attacks, and from there, was forced onto the streets, planet to planet, hiding her identity and going it alone. It began with pickpocketing and further continued with escalated theft and pawning of merchandise.
Throughout this time, she practised her Force abilities in secret, never utilizing them in public for fear of showing herself as a Jedi and bringing the Sith down on her.
After the first initial years, she managed to amass a small word of mouth clientele. Still very much a scavenger, she stowed what she had during the good times, knowing that bad ones would fall sooner or later, and fall they did.
Andy was contacted to steal a blaster that had historical significance. It had fired the beginning shot in a duel between two monarchs on Altavia. It was being held in a private collection, and it was from that secured collection that it was liberated.
She was unable to make it off-planet with the weapon before being apprehended by local law enforcement. Known to all as nothing but a thief, she was sentenced heavily. Andromeda spent nearly a year on a prison planet before achieving release and being sent out into the populace again.

Powers & Abilities
Due to her connection with the Force, Andromeda has been able to train and utilize a multitude of Jedi powers. Due to her disenfranchised and incommunicado status, she never utilizes these powers in a conspicuous manner. In this same vein, never does don her lightsaber while in public; it remains in her ship.
The powers that she has utilized and is in possession of, are as follows:
Force Speed - This power manifests itself in two separate applications. The actual physical speed of the Force-user is boosted, as is their perception of things moving around them. This allows them to react particularly fast to occurrences, and is oftentimes utilized during lightsaber fights.
Andromeda’s speed is not particularly remarkable. Through usage, the most she has been able to reach are quick bursts of particularly efficient speed, nothing for sustained duration.
Force Strength - Force enhanced strength is an ability that Force users are able to utilize to give them additional strength. It differentiates from Force Telekinesis in that it affects the actual muscles themselves, and is not a mind power
Force Stealth - This is an ability that Andy learned on her travels. It took time, introspection and training from her mother’s former Master, currently the only person to know that a Solaris is alive, and the woman who provided Andromeda with much of her additional training from the fall of Delos.
This ability allows skilled Force-sensitives to mask their nature and their connection to the Force from other wielders. It is this ability, and this ability alone, that has allowed Andromeda to avoid detection by the Sith, the Imperium, or the Jedi, all of whom have been on the lookout for any possible Solaris survivors, and especially for Tera Creed Solaris, one of the Jedi’s own.
Force Cloak - A rare ability, a Force-user could call upon their mastery of the Force to photo-kinetically bend light and sound waves around themselves, thus rendering them invisible to visual and audio detection. This is a skill that presented as a natural talent with an inherent aptitude, and is extremely difficult to learn otherwise, which is the reason it is a rarely seen ability.
Andromeda had a particularly strong aptitude for this, and has utilized it on one or two occasions. Due to the nature of this power physically bending light like a cloaking device around the user, it could be employed to evade not only life forms and Force sensitives, but mechanical and android creatures, as well, who would otherwise be immune to Force abilities.
Breath Control - Utilization of the Force allows a Jedi to utilize something known as breath control. Through this ability, a Jedi is able to numb the body’s instinct to shut down after oxygen deprivation, allowing the Jedi to go for extended periods of time without breathing. This ability also extends life in situations with thin air, obstruction or poisonous gases in the atmosphere.
Jedi Combat
Form I: Shii-Cho - Andromeda has proficient training in Form I, the introductory and most basic of the seven forms of lightsaber combat. It is complimentary to her random and less fine-tuned fighting style than fully trained Jedi. Although Andromeda has been trained since almost the time of birth, from the age of eleven forward, her training was sporadic at best.
Shii-Cho carries its basis in traditional sword-fighting techniques due to its dual nature as the first line of training for Younglings and a prerequisite for all other forms, and its origin as the first form of lightsaber combat, and therefore the most basic.
She has a natural aptitude, one not seen since the time of Tera Creed, and before that, five or so generations. This allows her to be more adaptive and better versed in Jedi ways in far less time than her contemporaries, something that oftentimes frustrated her two older brothers.
Form III: Soresu - Soresu is another non-aggressive form of lightsaber combat. It’s emphasis is on deflecting blaster shots. It relies on economy of motion and energy efficiency in order to keep up constant blade-work whilst deflecting.
It is part of the epitome of traditional Jedi non-aggression. It is highly passive, it’s main tenet being deflection and with virtually no offensive applications, as its focus is long-term survival as opposed to debilitating, or even harming, an opponent.
In the form of Soresu, practitioners are taught to hone quick reflexes, fast positional transition in order to overcome the rapidity of blaster fire. The core tenets encourage Jedi’s to place themselves within the eye of the storm and to maintain a calm center, undisturbed by the battle and havoc around them.
