    Overview

In 2009, the website Kickstarter.com launched, which would allow anyone to attempt to crowd fund any sort of project they wished. Users would set a goal for a the minimum amount of money needed to fund the project, then ask the community to help fund the project, offering incentive rewards based on how much an individual user donated. Projects would only be funded if they reached the minimum funding by the end of the time allotted to the project's Kickstarter page.

Recently, comic projects have become more and more popular on the platform and it not all these projects are kicked off by Jimmy Palmiotti but he is the undisputed record holder with 8 different projects so far! Below is a list of some of the most notable projects funded through Kickstarter as well as currently ongoing projects; in chronological order based on their funding period. The titles link to the wiki page here on Comic Vine if any; to see their Kickstarter page see "Link to project" at the end of each bullet point.
