Runerigus from the new stuff, Gen VIII stuff. Yeah I like that Pocket Monster's design...and the one eye reminds me of the Eye of Horus Illuminati symbol lol. Its Pocket Monsters Shield entry is scary and cool: "Never touch its shadowlike body, or you'll be shown the horrific memories behind the picture carved into it". I like how the Sword entry incorporates the scary Yamask into the entry, it makes the Pocket Monster more interesting: "A powerful curse was woven into an ancient painting. After absorbing the spirit of a Yamask, the painting began to move". I like that it is an evolution of Galarian Yamask...evolved Pocket Monsters can be cool. I will give it a 10/10 :-)
Lugia, perhaps my favourite Pocket Monster...I would rate Lugia a 9/10.
Yes, from the ages of around 7 years old to 11 years old, I think Charmander was my favourite starter from Generation 1 but nowadays I like Bulbasaur the most because it is more harmless (since it eats plants...or maybe doesn't eat plants and just photosynthesizes...whereas Charmander eats prey). Also, there is a Bulbasaur that has exciting adventures with Ash Ketchum in the anime. Also, Bulbasaur is the first entry in the Kanto Pocket Monsters dex...so that is another special thing. Also, Bulbasaur's design looks quite cool. I will rate Bulbasaur an 8/10 and I would rate Mewtwo an 8/10...I just wanted to rate Mewtwo as well. Mewtwo has a very nice design and its power is awesome and his Psychic stuff is cool and it is like the final boss of the original First Generation Pocket Monsters and the Masterball was designed for it. I do not like Mega Mewtwo X and Mega Mewtwo Y because they make the original Mewtwo look less badass. Also, the designs of MMX and MMY look a bit rubbish. I like how it is implied that Giovanni always wanted Mewtwo and wanted to catch Mewtwo in the Masterball and I like how badass Mewtwo was in the first movie...and I like its relation to the ancestor, Mew...but Mewtwo also has a design and psychic power copy from Giegue from Mother 1 and Lord Frieza from Dragon Ball Z...so Mewtwo is not that original.
Mew
7/10.
I find ithe design and the concept a bit bland and overrated but gotta give it a good score for how iconic it is. As far as gameplay goes, I never used mew in my main team so can't say much. But competitively mew's been pretty decent in OU . It's not one of those broken legendary/mythical but even after 8 generations later mew still has viability. It's not very good as a pure attacker/damage dealer tho.
6/10. Not a bad design but it's just lame in most other aspects. Wild tentacruels popping out everywhere while surfing used to be one of the most universally hated things about the Pokemon games. It's never got any special treatment in the anime either. Always treated as a fodder/ background Pokemon in the anime. Probably used to be good wall or staller in UU because of it's poison/water typing and solid sp defense back in the day. Giving it a half decent score due to design only.
Sneasler
I stopped following Pokemon after the original 90's series so a lot I never heard of or know lol but that one looks cool ^ 8/10
Blastoise
9/10. Classic & iconic, simplistic designs are always the best when they are done right, had a lot of hype in the og anime.and pretty decent in the meta as well
7.5/10. One of te better designed.fairy types. Never had the opportunity to use sylveon in any of the games though.
5/10
Another lame Pikachu clone. Would be 4/10 but gets grace marks for anime presence and unique typing (electric/fairy)
LOL Pikachu clone. 😅I thought the same I even saw someone on youtube call him a wal-mart fatter pikachu. Ouch!
Yeah, wannabe pikachu's are actually a legit reoccurring thing in the Pokemon franchise, although not officially categorised. Each new generation of game introduce a new Pikachu clone. So we have 9 generation of Pokemon games and 8 different pikachu clones. The first one(gen 2) being Pichu, pikachu's pre evolution form which didn't exist in gen1.
@sixpathsofcapra: Oh wow that's cool. I knew there were a few Pikachu clones from the few gens but didn't know there were that many now lol.
I see you're quite the Pokemon fan. I followed the earlier gens, first few and watched the original show back in the 90's but fell off. I remember when there were like 600-700 of them now I have no clue how many there are lol.
Oh for the one above, I'll give him about a 8/10. Looks pretty neat, reminds me of another one I can't think of right now.
Pineco
4/10
Sorry, but that monster's design is not my cup of tea...it looks cringy!
How much do you rate Charizard? I like Charizard's design a lot...it is like a badass dragon and I like dragons a lot (even though technically, Charizard is not a dragon-type monster, like Dragonite and Salamence, but Charizard is dual type fire/flying). Charizard was badass and cool when I was growing up with Generation 1...when it came to the anime and the videogames. I think that fire types are cool. But, Charizards can be mean and they can start forest fires, and I think that they are predators that eat prey. I would rate Charizard as an 8/10 overall.
Not a fan of object based pokemons except a few exceptions. Chimecho is still kind cute and the design is not overdone & look natural so I'll go with 6/10
lol Probopass kind of does look like a Tiki 😂
I feel like if there was ever a Disco themed Pokemon that's what it would look like ^ lol
8.5/10
Luvdisc
Oh hell no..2/10
