I think the main reason why DBZ vs One Punch Man, Sailor Moon, Saint Seiya etc. tends to end in flame wars is because no one can seem to agree on how strong Buu is.

Buu is arguably galaxy lvl, which is far above what OPM verse has showed. I dont know where you got that information from, but scans would be appreciated if its right what you wrote.

SSJ3 Goku is still too much, he stomps them.

Saitama and Garou could make it all to Buu saga and this is where they stop.

How is Goku "stomping" Saitama and Garou at the same time honestly? He is faster but that's it, his stamina can run out, and they can grow stronger, while Goku's edge in raw power isn't insurmountable.

He can only win if he charges up a Kamehameha right off the bat, launching it on them. Blast is not to be underestimated considering Goku's tendency to lower his guard, he might just bfr Goku into space.

I would go with Goku, but this team will give him hell and they certainly can win some.

If Goku is IC then he's definitely giving Garou an opportunity to copy his power. Then Garou should just BFR him or outlast him, seeing how bad SSJ3's stamina is.

I can't lie I think people are leaning into Super Saiyan 3's stamina drain weakness a little too much.

He was able to fight off Majin Buu long enough to buy time for Trunks and Piccolo even notes he could have killed him during that time.

People seem to act like only having to fight a gorilla (a very generous comparison) for 5 minutes without being severely wounded if not killed would be feasible.

except.. goku is not a gorilla in relation to saitama. He is inferior to him. Then you account for saitama's exponential growth, hax like zero punch, and it is obvious goku has no chance against him

Either Saitama or Garou are a fight unto themselves. Couple that with them being bloodlusted it's clear Goku gets stomped pretty badly here.

That is of course unless you take every anime feat at face value and place SSJ3 at galaxy level, which I'm still debating over. I usually just ignore filler feats.

That was when Goku was dead, though. The stamina drain is worse when he's alive.

He wasn't near the sun, he was close to Jupiter. And he went through Garou's portal.

2. Saitama doesn't even remember zero punch hax. He clearly won't be able to use it

This never happened, Garou merely saw the sun and used it to localize the Earth. After that, Garou slammed Saitama into a Nuclear fission blast, and used a portal to get back to the Earth.

Also Blast is too slow/weak to be of any use in a fight here.

Goku's a better and more skilled fighter than all of them. He's above them in stats and he has IT. Can do warp kamehameha. Is able to sense malice. Has precognition. Solar flare. The destructo disc. Etc.

@helmag: Stamina still let him fight Buu after already exhausting himself fending off Super Buu, Absorbed Gotenks, Absorbed Piccolo, Absorbed Gohan and fighting Kid Buu in SSJ2. It's not that bad even though Goku acknowledges the strain. The whole argument sounds akin to saying because characters in the verse acknowledge Ultra Super Saiyan/Grade 3 has a speed disadvantage my massively hypersonic character can blitz Ultra Trunks.

I'm still waiting for that galaxy feat for Garou and Saitama. They are not surviving a blow from Goku who outstats them greatly in the power department, which is worse when you set him against bricks.
