A comic imprint of WildStorm (intended for its time under Image but ultimately only existed under DC), the Imprint would find life in 1999. Activity grew to a halt with the departure of Alan Moore in 2007 or in 2006 with Alan Moore having Tom Strong finish with a tie-in to Promethea's apocalypses. Briefly reactivated in 2010 with a new Tom Strong story by Hogan but fully abandoned in 2011 and absorbed into DC through various other forms.

Upon buying the WildStorm properties in 1999, DC created a WildStorm imprint that began to appear on these ongoing titles and many new titles. Though the brand is still referenced at times, it was shutdown alongside other iconic DC-owned imprints in the 2010's when they decided to stop publishing books outside the DC brand.
A Marvel imprint initially formed in 1982 that went defunct in the mid-1990s, but saw a mild resurgence a decade later. The Epic imprint catered to mature audiences and published mostly creator owned work.
A DC Comics Imprint starting in 1993 (and lasting until 2001) that was to focus on mature reader and creator owned projects in genres such as crime and alternative comics but which differed from DC's other mature readers label, Vertigo.
Piranha Press was an imprint of DC Comics and their first attempt at a creator-owned, mature readers line of comics. Starting in 1989, the line was a response to capture the popularity of "alternative comics" at the time. The imprint lasted until 1994.
To celebrate ten years, Vertigo ran their titles under the Vertigo X banner from April 2003 to February 2004.
