    Krisis of the Krimson Kryptonite. Part 1 of 4. "Lex Luthor: Triumphant!" Lex Luthor is dying, but he won't allow that to happen until he has destroyed the Man of Steel once and for all. Enter: Mr. Mxyzptlk and Red Kryptonite. Using this mysterious ruby colored rock, Luthor makes Superman his physical equal. Now, let the best man win.

    Notes:

    • Clark Kent wrote a novel called The Janus Contract. This book was on the reduced prices table.
    • Lois Lane made the comment "Don't be glum. You're in good company -- Stephen King, J.L. Byrne..."
