About Me

Background: Ted H. Grant has always gravitated towards fighting and the thrill that it gave him. At a young age of 12 he decided to stop being a brawler and learn the sweet science of fisticuffs: Under the watchful supervision of Jack Di'Matieo, Ted Grant excelled at an impeccable rate and within 4 years he had piled up 120 amateur fights before turning pro two years later at 18.

For the next 4 years, Ted Grant conquered the boxing world by storm, starting his takeover from middleweight up until heavyweight. His ability and eagerness to fight as often as he could allowed him to capture five different titles in only a span of four years and piled up an incredible record of 48-0-0, fighting every month. A feat no one has seen or done before in the highest level of pugilistic competition.

Using his financial fortune from his success in boxing, he then went on a 12 year hiatus from boxing to travel all around the world to learn every known martial art that existed at that time. From the most common to some disciplines only a select few of people knew about. Seeking out the top masters of each martial art to study under them and learn their respective discipline. And by the age of 34, Ted Grant has not only learned but mastered all of the martial arts he chose to learn, a feat no human (as far as Ted knows) has ever done naturally.

Comeback To The Squared Circle: After more than a decade away from boxing, the now complete martial artist Ted Grant decided to go back into the ring. With everyone thinking that Ted's best years have passed him by, he went out and fought a dangerous opponent in Zachariah Jones. The number 3 contender at that time who was highly touted as the next Ted Grant. Grant entered the fight for the first time in almost 15 years as a heavy underdog. Grant then went on to knockout Jones in the 4th round and win his next 7 fights, the 7th being a for the title that he relinquished more than a decade ago.

Venture To Vigilantism: After achieving his goals and adding impressive victories to his record, Grant felt empty and had an existential crisis. After months of contemplation, he then decided to try out crime fighting. Something he always wanted to try but never pulled the trigger on. Grant then went on his first ever patrol as "Wildcat" A nickname a fellow student had given him years ago as he studied another discipline in a remote village in China. Referencing to his nimble yet ferocious way of fighting.

Having liked the thrill and adventure vigilantism gave him, Ted Grant made his decision to switch over to heroic work final and conceptualized and eventually made a suit to go with his persona and nickname. Getting into regular hero work fairly late at 36 years of age.

Current Situation: Ted Grant has managed to juggle vigilantism and crime fighting for more than 19 years. At age 55 he is still competing in different forms of combat sports and has racked up an impressive boxing record of 115-2-0 losing only two fights in some would say a controversial manner.
