@warstars1977: yeah let’s just ignore the fact that Kanan clearly had some sort of oneness amp and Maul underestimated him and didn’t expect that. Besides it’s not like he actually beat him in a legit duel he just grabbed him and threw him off a cliff. If we’re gonna play the lowball game then Dooku lost to pirates.
I don’t agree with this. Kanan has had a oneness amp, but it was at his death, not here.
If throwing someone off a cliff isn’t beating them, I don’t know what is.
Dooku didn’t lose against pirates. He didn’t fight. He looked confident enough when reaching for his saber, though, that he was about to murder a gang of pirates.
If I’m going to give my actual reasoning for why Maul loses, it’s that he couldn’t go into the fight on the IH and do as well as Dooku did.
Did u watch rebels? He clearly had an amp, and it's stated as such by his VA. Maul easily deals with three kanan level opponents in earlier scenes, coming to the conclusion that he's sub kanan/inquisitor level doesn't work
Undecided. I think an argument could be made for Maul though
I don't think dooku has a case tbh, unless u argue he was holding back against zonanakin. Maul scales to ahsoka rebels Vader feat, and rebels Vader is pretty far above the Vader that slammed dooku
