Brief History

Jonothan Drew was married to Merriam Drew and father of Jessica Drew ( Spider-Woman), former partner of Edgar Wyndham (High Evolutionary). On Wundagore Mountain in Central Europe, Jonathan Drew and his wife Merriem planned to build a research laboratory with fellow scientist Herbert Edgar Wyndham. They discover some Uranium and realize they may be rich. They soon begin mining operations and have agreed to have their lab built for free if they help a man build a spacecraft.

A mysterious stranger gives Wyndham and Drew some new workers for the mine, an offshoot of humanity know as Subterraneans.
