Origin

Jog was a Cameroon refugee living in France. He was born to a single mother never knowing his father was a New God.

Creation

Jog debuted in Suicide Squad (2019) #1 from Bruno Redondo and Tom Taylor.

Major Story Arcs

Suicide Squad

Jog was recruited by Osita for her super team that embedded themselves on the Suicide Squad. When they mounted their escape, Jog used his speed to round up all the detonators for their microbomb implants. He was able to get all but one, his own, and made the ultimate sacrifice when it is triggered.

Later, Jog would wake up in the morgue with his head grown back. He was greeted by the father he never met, The New God Black Racer. Black Racer invited Jog to come with him, but Jog was much more interested in saving his friends. Which he did.

Jog has super speed and generates black electrical discharge from his body.
