This issue marks the beginning of the new story "5 Brains, 5 Months," which will play out in "real time" over the course of the coming issues. In May, 2011, zombie girl Gwen and her friends solve a mystery just in time to keep an even more mysterious appointment with Amon, the sexy mummy, while the vampire girls add a new member to their number and the monster hunters prowl the streets. And in the first of a series of backup stories, we meet a group of government agents who will soon be making life very difficult for Gwen and company. But who are the Dead Presidents?

    Yum, Brains for Gwen's B-day dinner. 0

Every time I am debating on dropping this book the first issue of an arc hooks me and that is what this issue did.  The main story is Gwen's Birthday and it is fun times.  Within Eugene there is more plot development, with the vampires, Gwen's old B.F.F. and even more Zombies to rise and walk the streets.  The iZombie universe is getting more fleshed out this issue.A nice twist at the end hooks me for the next issue, but the book does not end with just a cliff-hanger, it also starts a back-up fe...

Amon says that the only way to keep her memories is by killing someone and eating their brains. But this is a very hard decision for Gwen and she has to think about it. After her birthday bash she goes meets up wit...
