    Riri Williams is a young girl and M.I.T. student. She became interested in technology from an early age on. While on M.I.T, she dared herself into a project that would change her life forever.

    Creation

    Riri Williams was created by Brian Michael Bendis and Mike Deodato Jr and first appeared (in a cameo) in Invincible Iron Man Vol.2 issue 7 (2016). She first fully appeared in Invincible Iron Man Vol.2 issue 9 (2016).

    Inventing a Suit

    Riri had been on M.I.T. for a number of weeks when she started a project of her own. She collected scraps and started building her very own Iron Man costume.

    On Earth-138, Riri one of the many punk themed anti-fascist superheroes. She goes by Riotheart and plays guitar in the Spider-Band.

    • Riri Williams appeard in Marvel Rising: Heart of Iron, voiced by Sofia Wylie.
    • Ironheart appears in Marvel's Spider-Man, voiced again by Sofia Wylie. She first appears in the episode "Amazing Friends," where she is introduced as an Avengers trainee staying at Avengers Tower. She encounters Spider-Man when he shows up there seeking aid from Iron Man, who is off in space with the rest of the team. Ironheart and her fellow trainee Amadeus Cho team up with Spider-Man to rescue Groot from the A.I.M. organization. In the "Vengeance of Venom" storyline, she is one of the many New York heroes who becomes possessed by a symbiote.

    • Riri debuts in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. She is a university student who designs a vibranium detector that is stolen by the CIA to use on the ocean floor. This angers Namor and his people, causing them to unjustly target Riri. Shuri takes her in and protects, and with Wakanda's resources makes a sophisticated version of her own Stark armor prototype.
    • Ironheart will appear in her own self-titled Disney+ production as part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Phase 4. She will be played by Dominique Thorne.

    Her bio in the game says: As a certified genius, Riri reversed-engineered Tony Stark's Iron Man Armor at the age of 15. What started as a small challenge quickly became her greatest ambition: to create her own version of the Iron Man suit and help those in need. After learning of Riri's first successful prototype, Tony Stark visits her and decides to endorse her desire to become the Invincible Ironheart!
