To me I think her force fields are invisible but when struck they tend to turn translucent.

I remember during Maximum Security Moonstone phased through Sue's force fields but she was being over powered by the Kree stone that gives her her powers. Captain Marvel/Photon/Pulsar could turn into light and pass through theoretically but she'd have to turn into something else to hurt her.

I don't become visible. If you hit them with an energy blast, the blast my form around the shield so you could effectively see it. But if you just punched it, it would remain invisible. "

The only way to get through Sue's force field is to almost kill her....that's typically the case.

an susan's force field are able to cut almost everything, she can create very sharp discs, and move them the speed she wants, I doubt if she's concentrating to keep moving it would stop, no matter how hard is the object or whatever.

I really do think that that should explore a different mental abilities of the invisible woman branching from her psionic force to telekinesis or even telepathy

I'm really confused about IW at the moment. Can you see her forcefields or not? In all the recent comics they seem to glow blue. Is that just so we know they're there or is that what they look like?

I know the question above is old, but yes they are invisible. They are usually drawn blue for the readers benefit and to make sure we know they are constructs, not telekinesis. She can also see her own force fields, as she can anything that is invisible.

Just adding these feats to show what her force field can do:

There is loads more she can do with them as they are only limited by her imagination.

I doubt anyone will answer, but there are 4 things that are pretty inconsistent or we don't know if she can block:

Telepathy - She's blocked telepaths like Jean and Psi Lord, but there are a couple of times when it has been able to get through.

Magic - It had no effect against Mephisto like it wasn't even there, but yet i managed to block his son Blackheart

Phasing - She's blocked Red Ghost, but Vision got through one time

Teleportation - She's never come up against this power

I really want to know if she can block these things or not. Maybe she has to slightly change up her force-field to block a certain power, like she has to with sound.

She's managed to block all of these (except teleportation which she's never faced) at least once.
