@edgelord91: well Luffy is a Yonko level for as long as his G5 transformation lasts.

@mortein: he's yonko level in base when using infusion but oda is restricting it for some reason

@edgelord91: he does have a couple seemingly yonko level feats in base, but I would argue those were PIS.

@mortein: I don't see how. Splitting the sky is a consistent indicator of yonko status

@edgelord91: because of how much his gears consistently boost his stats.

If he is a yonko level in base, then he should stomp Kaido in G5.

Base luffy was on par with Blueno, while G2 Luffy was on par with hybrid Lucci, who must be around 10 times stronger.

G2 Luffy was struggling to do any damage to Doffy, while G4 Luffy was destroying him.

And recently we have seen G4 Luffy struggling to land a hit on Kizaru, who either blocked or dodged everything he threw at him.

Then G5 Luffy TKOed him with the first punch he threw.

These things stack, we don't know the exact numbers, but if every gear mentioned here is conservatively around ~5 times boost of the previous one, then the stats of G5 Luffy should be more than 100 times greater than base Luffy.

I think splitting the sky is just the indicator of a yonko level haki, not necessarily the overall yonko level stats.

And as for kaido that's endurance and he explicitly started becoming more powerful after getting drunk

So, there's a theory rolling around that the One Piece planet is actually a Dyson Sphere, that the moons we see orbiting the OP planet on Ohara are actually planets orbiting a sun, and that this is what Vegapunk will reveal next chapter
