Jujutsu Kaisen Manga discussion thread (Spoiler warning)

The original JJK thread is dead along with the poster's account. So thought this would be a good time to make another one considering Gege's recent statement about ending the manga within a year.

Chapter 212 really caught me off guard with Sukuna finally making his move. I thought Gege was bluffing, but things have started to get real. If sukuna's ability is really CT stealing through cannibalism and he stills angels CT, along with the points Megumi has, he will have more control over culling games then Kenjaku himself.

Where doe sukuna fit into Kenjaku's plan is still unclear. So if Itadori still gets sukuna's powers ,he might end up fighting Fushigoro/Sukuna eos. That's a probability. And from the looks of it Gojo will not be coming back at least untill the finale. And then all these new anti-sukuna characters still popping up;Gege has already left yuta, Kashimo, Hakari etc leaving...I can only hope that it won't get rushed.

The set up for Gojo facing and killing Megukuna is too good for Gege to pass up. What I really wanna see those is him cut his teeth in a fight against Yuta before Yuta fights against Kenjaku.

I remember reading something about the mangaka taking more breaks to focus on his health. It's biweekly, just has breaks after every couple of weeks.

Is Gojo's regen on the level with Mahoraga's?

Even back when no one was understood how carefully Gege creates abilities for his characters, teleportation being just another application of limitless was a hill I was ready to die on and now after years it's confirmed to be true. Which means reversal red and hollow purple are also byproducts of the same principle of limitless that uses the opposite application to teleportation (substraction)

@syntix: that's part of it. We don't know what shrine actually does, he's been shown to throw around fire using the technique so we don't know how it really works.

No it's just a part of his CT. Like he DOES cut things, but that's not all he can do.

We don't know yet. It could just be a byproduct of his CT, like how with Yuta, he can copy CT's but none of the copied CT's are his actual real technique. All we know is the guy can cut things and if he says "open" he can use fire.

This was a good chapters things really getting interesting

I am 95% sure Gojo will die and i am not ready

His Domain is the Shrine and it only uses Cleave and Dismantle.

We don't know how he is able to use the Fire Technique but it is not his original CT.

It is possible he got it the same way he got the Ten Shadows now.

Speculation on both our ends. Is it part of the CT or is it not? We simply do not know.

@binnk: How many fingers Sukuna has at the moment in the manga?

@adamthedarkness: He's eaten 19 fingers, but the skull he ate before the fight makes up for that last finger, so he's still technically at full power (aka 20 fingers)

@binnk: I wonder if Sukuna will now be forced to pull out his trump card as mentioned in the previous chapter. Would be weird for them to mention it but have the fight end here without showing it.

But Gojo got infinity back so anything that sukuna could throw at gojo would be pointless

I feel like something's coming. First they tease Sukuna holding back while having a trump card and now the team's celebrating. kusakabe literally exclaims "Gojo has won". Nothing good comes from saying something like that in manga, especially shonen. Seems like Gege's setting something up.
