My expectation is rock bottom for this show after wandavision.

I hope it's good, but I refuse to get hype for this show, only for it crash and burn with my enthusiasm

This show is going to be a generic, uninspired trainwreck. Can't say I'm remotely excited.

I'm pretty excited about this. What's the story about anyway?

I do hope the quality is reminiscent of TWS.

I was never a fan of the “Captain Falcon” run, and I don’t expect this show to cross new horizons for the MCU like WandaVision (tho it’d be a nice surprise if it does). If anything the action and energy of the show seems to be right there in line with Winter Soldier and Civil War, so looking forward to checking it out.

So here's a question: will they address how sam can throw the shield like cap? At least in the comics he was superhuman but in the mcu he needs tech.

Tbh this is where the mcu can benefit deviating from the comics. Keep the shield OR melt it down to make vibranium wings for Sam. Sam should fight like falcon, not a super soldier.

I got a lil excited then and thought it was out.

But no one cares about Falcons feats guys hes just boring to use in battles, its all about what Bucky gets.

Oooo Batrocs back as well? If he fights Buck then that's gonna be fantastic.

@joshua755: Yeah we could do with some unarmed/h2h stuff for Sam but the aerial action, I honestly don't care about. Were due for some anyway with Black Widow dropping in less than 2 months now that's gonna have loads.

Ngl, not hyped. It's weird. I was hyped for F&TWS and then the trailer dropped. Now I'm not. I wasn't hyped for WandaVision... then the trailer dropped. Then I was hype.

Ι'm very excited, but I ought to do a better job at avoiding spoilers than I did with WandaVision, lol. Because I tend to wait for a few episodes to gather and then binge watch. Ironically, most of the spoilers are always people discussing it here then showing on my wall.

Damn Bucky already taking those falls.

I enjoyed the race issues touched on in the comics for Cap Falcon, highly doubt MCU will be willing to go there in sufficient depth.

A black Captain America? Some “people” would riot for much less.

I guess, but I'd still rather have Bucky as the new Captain America, they could have adapted Brubaker's run, which is way better than Sam's era as Captain America.

Lot's of review outlets keep saying the show isn't going to avoid "the racial tensions that arise with a black captain america"

So, can we expect some generic and ham fisted attempts at tackling racism in this show (white oppressing black is bad) or some actual nuance exploration of racism like racism isn't confined to America and POC can oppress POC or Whites ?

I couldn't care either way, but am curious to see people's reaction to it.

I'm looking forward to the more action / Bond style approach to this.

I'm curious if US Agent has a really small part though or if they're more trying to keep that under wraps for some twists.
