WW was captured and tortured by the Sovereign,Hallucinate her mind thats Man are superior to Woman and went on using Jesus as example of why he died. Wonder Woman#8 confirms the strength and properties of the lasso through a somewhat hallucinated conversation between Diana and her late mother, Hippolyta. During their exchange, Diana states, “The rope is ours. It will not be broken.” This confirms two crucial points: the belief in the lasso's unbreakable nature and its Amazonian origins. Therefore, the Lasso of Lies, coming from the same ilk as Diana’s unbreakable Lasso of Truth, means that it should be just as indestructible.Hence, Diana's ability to shatter it is an incredibledisplay of her power.

Or

Superman breaks out/shatters chains (Karanthium steel)that were designed to haul stars across the galaxy - Let's say these chains were made to pull (our) sun What tensile strength would a chain need to help pull our sun without breaking?

Didn't she indicate Hippolyta lying to her? Still, if Lasso of Lies holds the same cosmological status as the Lasso of Truth, just in reverse value, it should be an insane feat

Kerenthium feat is straight up but I recall something about a dream-sequence or sth?

@rajjarsalt: For Diana, the belief might positively or negatively impact the feat. Maybe it wasn't necessarily about strength, but about belief

For Superman, it wasn't a dream sequence, unless i heavily misread, but it is a pretty cool feat.

She didn't say that hippolyta lied only that she rarely believes what her mother tells her.

It might be belief but we do not know and it wasn't even implied and believe has never amped Diana.

Where is the supes feat from?

The Diana's feat is more impressive. The lasso has star level durability, has no sold black holes and has restrained superman even when he was amped, that should scale Diana's feat above his.

@mage101: wasn't saying it amped Diana, more like nerfed the lasso. Possibly.

Superman feat is from Up in the Sky, the best Superman story in decades. Can't recommend it enough
