    Origin

    Jerry O'Neil worked for the New Orleans Police Department. His department head was retiring and he had seniority. But he was passed on for someone he was told was more qualified, but in fact came just out of college. Disillusioned, he turned to thievery as the Cat. He was more succesful than he had hoped. After a while, he got a sidekick named Mouse.
