As a child Bloodstorm was overweight and his idol was Jet Man. Because of this he was picked on by all the other children.
Using the hate he had developed from his past he became an extremely violent assassin. Evem though he is trained to supress his emotions, he still lets his hate fuel him to succeed.
In #2 of Sludge he was hired by Marcello to exterminate Sludge. Despite Sludge's size and displayed strength, he was not perturbed and he used an arrow with an explosive on the tip to kill his enemy.
Later, when Mr Wong and Marcello hold a meeting, Marcello hires Bloodstorm to protect him in case any trouble occurs and he kills another assassin.
After warning Marcello not to double-cross him, Bloodstorm is hired to kill Lord Pumpkin, and for added fun he decides to wear a pumpkin looking helmet.
Breaking into Pump's hideout easily and taking out his fishmen cronies he has his scope trained on Lord Pumpkin only to be taken by surprise by Pump's magic, and then his hand gets shot up by Young Pistol.
Pump then fills him with Zuke, sending him violently crazy where he goes after Marcello, only to get shot to pieces, meeting his death.
