    History

An item of unspeakable alien power older than the history of Wakanda itself. The Altar of Resurrection was constructed by an unknown xenospecial race from beyond earth's star system before the continent of Africa even came to exist. Settlers from the distant past came upon this site and re-purposed it for the practice of forbidden mystic arts, using the extra-terrestrial science of they're finding coupled potent magics in order to utilize the foreign objects unique radiation signature to change and empower the living as well as revive their long passed dead. Some few tens of thousand years later, the rogue Wakandan warrior named N'Jadaka would found this place and build a sizable army from it. Using it on both his living cohorts or other allies giving them super powers, or upon willing servants and lifeless cadavers who would find new life as undead soldiers who fight and die for him without fear of anything, not even death itself. The resurrection Altar's true purposed was revealed during the Maximum Security Event; the device said monastery of power was built over had in fact not been a place of tampering with the laws of mortality. But was in fact a kind of teleportation hub which connected two ends of space across interstellar distances between singular way point stations.
