Extract their blood on a regular basis
After last issue's lead-in to a defeated Batman, things do not get better for him here, at least not immediately, but as he eventually escapes from Two-Face he discovers that there is more at play here than he had originally assumed. Still it is not so much the action here which makes this a strong issue (though the action is good) rather it is the characterizations. The brief interlude of various Gotham crimefighters felt perfectly in place, but more so it was the short discussion between Batman and Commissioner Gordon which gave this issue a great deal more power. The ending was handled well too as it basically provides what any Batman fan is after. Overall a well scripted and well executed issue.
