Outnumbered, But Not Outmatched
Warning: Review May Contain Spoilers
After the surprise attack from the Human Torch (Jim), The Maestro follows his attacker to the bottom of the Pacific Ocean, straight to an underwater city ruled by the Sub-Mariner. Craving violence, Maestro unleashes hell on his former ally.
The Good
Despite Maestro technically not starting this fight, it doesn't take long for the story to remind you that he is now a villainous psychopath. He wants nothing more than death and domination.
Namor throws a lot at Maestro but nothing seems to work. A giant monster, armed soldiers, and even the aid of his own son ain't enough to stop Maestros rampage.
The Bad
Upon re-reading, it does seem a bit odd that Jim and Emil show up conveniently when Namor is at his most vulnerable. Like all the mass destruction and death wasn't enough to get them involved?
Verdict
A decent chapter in this mini saga. Maestro dominates this issue.
