2021: The Suicide Squad or Black Widow ?

This is not even close.

The Suicide Squad stomps. Black Widow was an average and forgettable action movie, The Suicide Squad was something truly special.

Overall, suicide squad. Black widow had a much better intro though imo

The Suicide Squad was a lot better than Black Widow IMO. Black Widow was not quite as bad as some people was saying it was while The Suicide Squad was a delightful time.

I think overall they are both above average movies, but I at least enjoyed something on a consistent basis in BW, which was the family dynamic.

The suicide squad 2021 is better than like 85% of all the MCU movies, let alone something like Black Widow

Suicide Squad is a bit overrated IMO, but BW was pretty bad so Suicide Squad very very easily.

Haven't seen SS yet but I've heard nothing but praise for it.

BW was a massive disappointment. I was so hyped for it as well.

Black Widow somehow managed to be more forgettable than Thor 2.

I liked Black Widow better...but Suicide Squad was fine...same as the original.

I know it’s fun to chastise Black Widow, but it did return more than three times what The Suicide Squad did in their opening weekends and that doesn’t count the Disney+ “Premier Access” earnings which Disney doesn’t have to share with the theater chains (or Scarlet Johansson, apparently). Yes, The Suicide Squad was impeded by rising concerns over COVID-19 and the Delta variant as well as being available for home viewing at no extra cost to HBO Max subscribers. The latter excuse might not have been as big a disadvantage as one might think since both Godzilla vs Kong and Space Jam 2 had higher grossing openings. This new Suicide Squad movie did not generate the same level of enthusiasm with the general audience as the previous version. Black Widow, while certainly under performing compared to every other MCU movie is still the highest grossing Domestic release to date.

Suicide Squad. While I feel it's being a bit overrated, it was still a fun, entertaining ride. Black Widow was just ok. I'm still salty about how they mishandled Taskmaster.

BW isn't a bad movie, but it falls in the range of "meh" MCU movies. The Suicide Squad I've already seen three times and enjoy it everytime, it's the upper echelon of DCEU movies.

Suicide Squad, only thing I remember about BW was how awkward the people around went for that ovaries joke they just randomly dropped in.

Will come back once I've watched TSS, but BW is a pretty high bar for CBMs. And considering my expectations for the former, I'd be very surprised if it's better.

In terms of my own personal enjoyment? I thought it was fine. I think most movies in general are average, and only become bad movies when the do bad things. BW was just that, and I think the family dynamic was at least something new and interesting.

Suicide Squad is a far more inspired work.

Suicide Squad is DCEU's best effort yet, much better than BW.

Now that I've seen it, this is even a bigger stomp.
