Iron Man
vs
Apocalypse
Rules:
Best Armor(Iron Man)
Morals off
Win by KO or Death.
Can Iron Man's suit stand up to Apocalypse' celestial tech?
1) Apocalypse is immortal
2) Apocalypse has complete control of his body on a molecular level
3) Apocalypse has been shown to be able to fight Thor and the Hulk (not sure how well he did and I think Thor was unworthy while Hulk was kind of resisting mind control (correct me if I'm wrong here.))
I wanna say Apocalypse but Iron Man was innovative enough to stave off Magneto who was borrowing energy from Jupiter or some other planet.
Idk what Tony's BEST suit offers, but in theory, En Sabah Nur STOMPS.
Too diverse and intelligent (Tony is more prep/silence/book smart), whereas Apocalypse has this godly/worldly knowledge to lose.
BUT, since my boy is written like crap in comics, Tony PROBABLY wins. -_-

Appocalypse is not immortal. He has a chamber that keeps him young, unless things have changed considerably for him since the last comic I read with him in it. If I'm not mistaken Thor beat him with his axe.
Apocalypse jobs a lot too, he can be very powerful but loses when he shouldn't. I don't know, I think Tony would need prep for this one.
@randomsid: Are you sure he's not immortal? I thought his actual mutant ability was immortality.
In the Messiah Complex it was shown that Stryfe and Bishop teamed up to kill Apocalypse but 1000 years down the line he calls out to Archangel to find him in some cave where he's been withered over the years.

As far as I can remember he isn't immortal. He uses his tech(celestial tech) to keep his body from dying. But like I said, they could possibly have rewritten things since the last comic I read with him. This is from the Marvel site about him though:
Apocalypse's full extent of powers remain to be revealed, especially to the extent of which powers have since been augmented by alien technology. Apocalypse claims to have control of his body on the molecular level-- allowing him to shape change and elongate with virtually unlimited range, to increase density and allow his body to mimic metals and armors, to teleport, and to be virtually immune to the effects of age. Apocalypse can also increase his strength to levels surpassing that of the Hulk, grow to giant sizes, and gain the power of flight, sometimes through turning his arms into wings or jets. Apocalypse can also transform himself into a variety of human disguises.
He has exhibited energy absorbing and projecting abilities in the past. Apocalypse has been termed an "External," due to his mutant ability of immortality. Briefly, Apocalypse has shown potential to be a powerful psionic.
It has further been hinted that Apocalypse's body is ravaged by a techno-organic disease. Many of his regenerated bodies must use an exoskeleton body armor to prevent his energies from consuming him. Apocalypse can apparently merge/switch host bodies to continually revive his self-consuming body.
Probably Apocalypse after a drawn-out battle, but I won't ignore Iron Man's awesome tech being thrown his way and causing some form of hardship.
@randomsid: Yeah i just looked up a list of his abilities from this site and apparently nobody really knows what his true mutant ability even is...confusing.
But based on his powers on paper, Apoc should take Iron Man quite handily.
Iron Man would take him with prep, otherwise Apocolypse takes it. Though i am not sure which suit is best, a lot of them that look crazy powerful are featless...

Actually, Iron Man built a satellite that tapped into Jupiter's EM field. Magneto took the satellite and wrapped it around himself, boosting his own power and beat Tony.
That said, Poccy beat Hulk, and I think he beat Thor. He also has an incredible healing factor that makes it hard to put him down.

Nice 👍 6yrs ago till now... I can still agree! But open...
Currently, I think Apocs powers and feats are very much contextualized to fit the plot of a story.
But Apocalypse is a Cyberpath and with a godly will, I'd wager he'd take over Tony's armor(unless Tony prepped against it)
