Magik's job-aura + Tarn being able to at least cripple somebody before getting put down makes me think Cassandra has the best majority of wins given she at least has regen

These days she's been flip-flopping too much for me to trust her being the winner here, just way too ineffective

-Tarn is going to turn Nova and Illyana's Mutant powers off. That much is given. However, since Illyana can use Magic, she is not powerless unlike Nova would be. And I don't think Tarn has any counters to Magic.

Can't Cassandra manipulate her own DNA? Would that give her some resistance to Tarn?

Even if that was the case Cassandra's feats doing such a thing weren't immediate enough to suggest she could immediately get to correcting any genetic damage caused.

@professorrespect: I wasn't suggesting she could correct any genetic damage. I was wondering if she could put up a modicum of resistance to give her a chance to fry his brain. Vulcan's power is connected to his mutant gene too and he was using it at the same time that Tarn was shutting it off. Seems like it's a matter of who strikes first.

Anyway at peak I might be backing Magik.

Don't see it as I've said before, her feats just don't have the showings necessarily to suggest such a thing.

When will we realize Magik resisting mind reading does not equal a telepathic assault or someone trying to forcefully enter her mind.

I don’t get what you’re saying? Telepathy is a vast power set with many applications. Magik showing resistance to one doesn’t grant her resistance to all especially combat telepathy.

Xavier Jr easily mind controlled her, Emma used illusion on her, Rachel easily knocked her out. I can go on.

@professorrespect: If I’m not wrong didn’t he resist Onslaught offensive telepathy with a spell. I believe I took all of him and he could only shield himself but he did it.
